I am a creative Digital Content Marketing Manager who has extensive product design development experience in the craft and home decor industry. I also own and manage a social media marketing service that specializes in Facebook marketing, digital advertising, and email marketing campaigns.
A few clients I have worked with in the past are Cartvertising, a company that partners with KROGER, and Plum District, an e-deal site for moms. In the past I have also been on contract as an Account Executive for the Inside Gwinnett Magazine and EZlocal.com, a nationally recognized search engine marketing company that specializes in optimizing small businesses for local search.
I have a great working knowledge of WordPress, Blogger, XHTML and CSS, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and love to blog. Doodledaisies is a brand name for original art designs created by me. I love pattern design, and to support the sales of this brand, I created a blog, Facebook, and Twitter Page.
The Foster Childrens’s Foundation
I do a lot of volunteer work and The Foster Children’s Foundation is one of my favorite charities. I love kids and helping children who are in need makes me feel good. I helped the Foster Children’s Foundation with marketing and jump-started their Facebook and Twitter.
I went to UGA and majored in Graphic Design. Go Dawgs! Right out of school I began my career working for an arts and crafts manufacturer, Plaid Enterprises, as a Product Designer. I then became a Product Manager at Plaid for one of the largest paint lines in the craft industry, FolkArt paint. As manager of this brand, I was responsible for the launch and continuity plans for a very successful “learn to paint” program called One Stroke Painting. The very talented artist/teacher of the program, Donna DewBerry, is now a well known art “celebrity,” and her program is multi-million dollars in sales. Part of my job in launching One Stroke was writing the marketing plan and sales support materials, coordinating with the art department the graphic look of the line, working at trade shows and One Stroke seminars, teaching sales teams and artist groups the One Stroke painting technique, and managing a sweepstakes giveaway.
